(12 March 2024)

Trends Research and Advisory and the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS) have signed a partnership agreement that covers the prospects and means of research cooperation between the two institutions.

The HCSS is one of the leading research institutions in the Netherlands and the world. The agreement is a step to enhance international cooperation in the field of research and specialised studies.

The agreement enables comprehensive cooperation between the two centres in various fields of scientific research, including focused research and diverse studies. It covers collaboration in joint research projects, exchange of experts and researchers, opinion polls, and insights on issues of common interest.

The two sides will organise conferences, seminars, and workshops. They will also cooperate in joint publications and research studies.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory, said that this agreement reflects Trends' keenness to strengthen its relations with leading research institutions worldwide.

He added, "Through this agreement, we hope to expand the scope of our research and studies to include various fields of relevance to the future of our region and beyond. We also aim to enrich international dialogue on issues of common concern and deliver innovative solutions that achieve peace and stability. Thus, we shall confirm Trends slogan of 'Foreseeing the future through knowledge'."

Michel Rademaker, Deputy Director of HCSS and one of its founders, said, "We at The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies highly value this partnership with Trends Research and Advisory. It is an opportunity to exchange experiences and cooperate in research and specialised studies. We believe that this agreement will enhance international cooperation in scientific research and deliver scientific solutions to the challenges facing the world."
